This is a business investment opportunity in Romania. The owner of a fish farm is seeking a financial partner for implementing an EU-financed project.

An overview of this business

The purpose of this project is to rebuild the fish farm and produce carp, European catfish, pike, and sturgeon.  Consultancy and design were already done. Currently, the project is at the second request for reimbursement. Recently, eighty percent of the project construction works were held: incubation station, full feed store, office area, and full planning firm: clogging, culvert, dam – full, feed, and specific arrangements are still under construction. A loan of three million Euro approved.

The farm sits on three hundred ten hectares of seventeen water-formed small ponds and six large ponds.

The business potential for growth is extensive and the following projects can be implemented:

• a fish processing plant,
• developing diversified feed production facilities,
• construction of a photovoltaic park, and many more.

These projects can be developed with European Union funding, the grants are forty – seventy percent depending on the project.
