In the Croatians demand, it is not yet possible to carry out settlement transactions operating crypto-currency. However, operating it for other purposes is not prohibited by local legislation. Croatian officials legislated a few years ago that cryptocurrency can be used as a means of transferring it to others. It is also possible to store it or organize the exchange of crypto-currency for other electronic assets.

To conduct such operations, a company must obtain a crypto license in Croatia. It is not difficult to do this, but it is important to comply with the rules of the local regulator and central bank before starting the registration of such a document. Let’s take a closer look at why crypto businesses should pay attention to this country and apply for permission in Croatia.

Whether it is worth acquiring a crypt- license in Croatia

Certainly, crypto-currency miners should not avoid registering a legal entity and conveying a crypto-currency permission in Croatia. Local officials may not yet recognize cryptoc-urrency as a prosperity of revenue, but they understand that this market needs transparent rules of the game and can bring additional revenue to the budget.

Companies working in this area have even created their association. It helps to educate citizens about the possibility of working with crypto-currencies and helps novice traders and miners in this market. Therefore, in Croatia, you will immediately find partners who will help you competently build a legitimate business in this area. Such opportunities are not available in all countries.

Representatives of the association also help local officials to understand the subtleties and rules of working with crypto-currencies. This helps them to understand faster what legislative acts are needed to regulate this market. Therefore, if you want to develop in the crypto-business, it is worth thinking about registering a corporation in Croatia and starting work from the territory of this country.

Edges for companies with Croatian`s crypto license

The presence of a Croatian crypto-license shows that such companies have a certain reputation in the territory of this state. Therefore, it is worth cooperating with such corporations. License holders have the subsequent benefits:

  • can work in all areas related to crypto-currency (trading, exchange storage, etc.);
  • license-holders will be able to work on multinational and Croatian exchange-platforms;
  • this document allows entering the markets of EU-member states;
  • licensees can furnish services to ordinary citizens and corporations without restrictions on transaction amounts.

It is essential to realize that not all companies can obtain such docs. Therefore, it is extremely important when cooperating with Croatian crypto-currency corporations to find those who have received a license from the local regulator. In this case, you will not fall for fraudsters and the transaction will be carried out.

Conditions for companies to acquire a crypto-currency approval

The issuance of a crypto-currency permission will depend on how prepared the company’s representatives are to work in the market. To qualify for this document, the applicant’s representatives must:

  • complete the registration of a legal entity (almost everyone chooses a limited liability company, but it is not fundamental to the controller);
  • furnish docs confirming the presence of an office and legal address on the territory of Croatia;
  • complete the HANFA crypto authorization and obtain a permit from this sovereignty to conduct cryptocurrency-activities;
  • co-owners of the company must not be interested in forgery and financial-crimes;
  • the co-owners of the company must have documents that prove the legality of their income;
  • the company is obliged to hire personnel who have the necessary knowledge and skills to work in the cryptosphere.

After submitting the entire package of docs, the controller has 3 months to consider the application. After this period, the company receives a notification of the regulator’s decision. This may be an agreement to issue a license, a refusal to issue a license, or the need to enter additional information or correct errors.
